Metadata

[Supported in SpeedCurve RUM only]

Much like a dimension, metadata refers to a specific attribute or characteristic of the data you are exploring. Unlike dimensions in SpeedCurve, metadata is excluded from most dashboards and filters. Metadata is commonly high cardinality (numerous or unique in nature) and isn't feasible for inclusion in dimension filters. Examples of metadata are descriptive values such as session id, trace id, unique identifiers, and product id.

To add metadata, navigate to Settings-> Custom Data -> click 'Add Metadata'

There are two options for adding metadata to SpeedCurve.
